Facilitating training and development programmes, creating capability for work
Offering financial support to overcome the barriers to employment including support with rent and other costs which may hinder stability
Who are Only A Pavement Away?
Only A Pavement Away are a charity dedicated to reframing and rebuilding the lives of those facing homelessness, prison leavers and, veterans by providing job opportunities in the hospitality industry.
What are we doing?
Only A Pavement Away’s goal focuses on giving people another chance to get their life back on track. When creating this piece of art, Biba wanted to showcase the burst of colour within us when we find our ‘Pinnacle’. A Pinnacle can mean so many different things to each of us, whether that’s getting the job you love, meeting friends, completing a 5km run, or cooking a home cooked meal. That feeling can be a pinnacle, a burst of light, an inspiration or even a small win for the day. This is what Only A Pavement Away do for those looking for work, they allow people to experience that pinnacle.
